 After Graduation from RB I went to S.I.U. for Automotives. Graduated & went to work in Brookfield at Lizalek's Auto Repair. I was drafted in 1965 and spent 2 yrs in the Army. 1 yr in Vietnam, in the 101st Airborne Division. I was a Helicopter Crew Chief/Door Gunner. After discharge from the Army I went to Lewis University in Lock Port and graduated with an Airframe and Power Plant License. Went to work for American Airlines at O'Hare Airport. Transferred to Los Angeles in 1972. Went into Management, traveled the world with American. I worked in Tokyo and Honolulu for several years. Came back to LA and was promoted to Manager of Aircraft Maintenance Quality Assurance. I retired in 2003. Along the way I took up Skydiving and made a total of 3,464 skydives. I was on numerous Skydiving records before I quit 3 years ago. I also obtained a Private Pilots License along the way. I now spend my time volunteering as a Mechanic on an old WWII B-25 Bomber we call "Executive Sweet". We fly it all summer long to various Air Shows around the western states. I fly with it. Enjoying retired life to the hilt. I live one mile from the Pacific Ocean and often go for a bike ride down the beach bike path to Santa Monica or Malibu. Kids are all grown and out of the house on their own. My one son is an Automobile Mechanic and my Daughter is a Registered Nurse. My two sons from my first marriage are a Stone Mason and a Police Officer. My second wife passed away in 1992 from breast cancer.

Moved to a Del Webb community East of Boulder on the Front Range in early Aug. '07. Lovin' it. Retired after 40 years as a business writer and communications consultant. Hope to attend my 50th reunion in 2011. We are having a reunion .... right?

Moved back to Riverside after spending 9 years in Phoenix, AZ. My Father, Henry Sordel, class of 1941 has been suffering from conjestive heart failure, and my two daughters, 24 and 18, and I came back to spend time with him. I hope to be able to attend this event. It would be great to see some old friends....if we recognize each other!!

Believe it or not, this is myself (left) and my youngest daughter Alison, now 19.....does she look like me in high school or what?  She is living the life in Wrigleyville in Chicago.  My oldest daughter Melissa is living in Portsmouth, VR, at the Naval Base, while her husband Scott just got deployed to Iraq.
My Dad Henry Sordel, class of 41, passed away June 30, 2006, and my Mother Mary Sordel just got married this past June to her college boyfriend.

Retired debt-free at age 51 in July of 2008 after 25 great years at Epson in the computer industry. Celebrated 30 years of marriage in 2010 to Marilyn (Glenbard West '75), no kids. Moved to Central Florida in 2008 and we now live in America's most beautiful nudist resort, Cypress Cove in Kissimmee. Interests and accomplishments too numerous to mention. Hello to all my old classmates from RBHS '75!
